UKA Foods is committed to nutritional transparency across our entire product portfolio. Every product carries detailed nutritional information — including energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, sugars, sodium, and fiber content — calculated per serving and per 100g in compliance with international labeling standards.

Beyond regulatory compliance, we actively work to make nutritional information accessible and meaningful to consumers. Clear front-of-pack labeling, easy-to-read nutrition tables, and ingredient lists presented in descending order of composition give consumers the information they need to make informed dietary choices.

As a food manufacturer operating across multiple countries, we recognize our role in supporting community nutrition and health education. UKA Foods participates in industry-led nutrition awareness campaigns, supports school feeding programs through institutional-format product supply, and collaborates with health organizations on initiatives that promote balanced diets and responsible food consumption.

In our agricultural communities, we support programs that improve food security, promote dietary diversity, and strengthen the nutritional knowledge of farming families — creating a positive cycle where the communities that help grow our ingredients also benefit from our commitment to food responsibility.

Comprehensive allergen management is integrated into our manufacturing processes and labeling systems. All products carry clear allergen declarations identifying the presence of common allergens — including gluten, dairy, nuts, sesame, soy, and eggs — in compliance with EU, FDA, and Codex Alimentarius allergen labeling requirements.

Our factories maintain strict allergen control protocols including dedicated production lines where feasible, thorough cleaning validation between production runs, and regular allergen testing to verify the effectiveness of cross-contamination prevention measures.

Our R&D team continuously evaluates opportunities to improve the nutritional profile of our products without compromising taste, texture, or consumer acceptance. Current reformulation priorities include: reduced-sugar formulations for juice and jam products, sodium optimization in sauces and condiments, cleaner ingredient lists with fewer additives, and increased use of natural colors and flavors.

Reformulation is approached scientifically — through controlled trials, consumer taste panels, and stability testing — ensuring that healthier versions meet the same quality and shelf-life standards as their predecessors.

Responding to growing consumer interest in functional foods, our innovation pipeline includes products fortified with vitamins, minerals, and beneficial nutrients. Development programs explore opportunities in vitamin-enriched juices, fiber-enhanced spreads, and products with added nutritional benefits that align with emerging health trends across our target markets.

All functional food claims are supported by scientific evidence, regulatory review, and appropriate documentation — ensuring our health-related product innovations are credible, compliant, and meaningful to consumers.

The global movement toward clean label products aligns with UKA Foods' fundamental philosophy: quality food requires quality ingredients. We are progressively expanding our clean label portfolio — products made with recognizable, minimally processed ingredients that consumers understand and trust.

Our clean label approach extends beyond ingredient lists to encompass transparent sourcing, simplified processing where possible, and clear communication about how our products are made. This commitment strengthens consumer trust and supports our partners' positioning in premium and health-conscious retail channels.

Every ingredient in every UKA Foods product is fully traceable — from its origin through processing to the finished product. Our sourcing documentation includes supplier qualifications, raw material specifications, certificates of analysis, and chain-of-custody records that enable complete transparency for import partners, certification auditors, and regulatory authorities.

This level of traceability is not just a compliance requirement — it is a fundamental element of our food safety system and a tangible demonstration of our commitment to responsible manufacturing.

All UKA Foods ingredient suppliers must meet our approved supplier standards — including quality management system certification, food safety compliance documentation, regular audit participation, and demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices. Suppliers are evaluated annually and must maintain compliance to retain approved status.

For agricultural inputs, our supplier standards extend to farming practices — including responsible pesticide use, water management, soil conservation, and fair labor practices. We work with our agricultural partners to continuously improve these practices through training, technical support, and shared quality objectives.

UKA Foods is committed to ethical sourcing practices that respect human rights, fair labor standards, and environmental stewardship throughout our supply chain. We expect all suppliers and partners to operate in compliance with applicable labor laws, provide safe working conditions, and treat workers with dignity and respect.

Our ethical sourcing commitments are documented in our supplier code of conduct, which forms part of every supplier agreement and is subject to periodic verification through audit and assessment programs.
